Andreas Lie Portraits

Image
These double exposure portraits by Andreas Lie strike a perfect balance. Suggestive of human forms as well as the Nordic scenery of his native Norway. His hometown of Bergen is just what you would imagine, gushing water, snow capped mountains, the Northern Lights and deep enchanting forests. With minimalist precision the contours of personality are captured. Beautiful, you can see more here at Ignant .

Traffic Lights

Image
I love it when someone makes me look at the ordinary in a different way. Lucas Zimmermann has spent over two years capturing these moments - the ordinary traffic lights around the foggy streets of Weimer, Germany became his muse - and he created some rather eerie photographs.  The stillness is captured beautifully, and the spectrum of colours. Why is it that empty streets are so unnerving! The traffic lights working for no one, the world goes on as we sleep. Found at Design Boom .
