In a series entitled 'Strange Bloke', German photographer Daniel Müller captures his road trip travelling the length of Australia.  Müller's journey weaved from urban to outback, but it was the vastness of this island nation that really left an impression.  Such stunning light, the scale of the natural landscape serves to put you in your place.  I have not made it to Australia yet in my travels but it has always stood out as beautiful landscape, one that can't help but open your eyes and broaden your horizons.  See more at Ignant .  

You can't get much more British than fish and chips, and thanks to a rather passionate advocate, one has opened in Chengdu. The idea to open a branch of Scott's Fish and Chips in China (with a much more superior design it has to be said) came after the president of China, Xi Jinping visited a Scott's shop in North Yorkshire in 2015. Many other tourists followed suit and so the idea came to be that China might be the place to expand. Created by Unknown Works studio, the tiny space, just 33 square metres, opens up with 3d printed doors displaying details of genuine British fish and chip shops. The studio took their 3d scanner up and down the country getting an authentic flavour for the Chinese shop.  White tiles are broken up by neon letters stating 'Scotts'. Panels in the doors drop down to create tables in a smart use of space. The menu is as you expect true to tradition,  battered, deep fried and delicious.     Originally found at Dezeen ...
