I thought I would share a some fun branding today for a Japanese eatery, Dumpling Darlings.  I like the bright clashing colours and the manga inspired illustrations of Jo and her pig, Pork Chop. The simple graphic style of illustration works well, the limited colour palette and line shading add a youthful touch. The vertical writing style for the logo has a nod to the orient and I love the packaging design, complete with chop sticks. Wonderfully executed across all areas of the brand. Definitely puts me in the mood for dumplings!  Originally found at The Dieline . 

French photographer Eric Tabuchi has an ongoing photo series, 'Atlas des Régions Naturelles', a detailed documentary of France's landscape, built and natural. Over the course of 10 years Tabuchi will take 25,000 images, 50 images taken in 500 different regions of France. When we think of France we often picture blue shuttered farm houses or elegant Parisian glamour. Tabuchi wanted to capture the whole of France, the anonymous buildings and the left behind infrastructure from a world that was, or might have been. There's a slightly sad quality to the shots he frames, quiet, still. The buildings are diverse but you really focus on them as the subject, you consider its purpose, its place.
