I am in love with this new collection. The Chloe Spring / Summer 2015 story perfectly captures the carefree sunshine dream of Seventies fashion. Models Caroline Trentini and Eniko Mihalik seem to embody the endless summer I always associate with that decade. The dresses themselves billow beautifully in the wind, with a touch of the wild west in structured denim. Coupled with equally elegant horses all out for a stroll on a golden beach.  The behind the scenes photos are just as beautiful. A little bit of sunshine on quite a dreary January day is just what I needed!  Found on My Bougeotte .

Mason's Farm Today I thought I would share some work by artist Edwin La Dell. A British painter, printmaker, lithographer and illustrator from 1914 - 1970. Sedbergh School Self Portrait I love how La Dell uses colour generously and thoughtfully. He was head of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art in the 1960s, as well as an official war artist during the Second World War, creating public murals and camouflage. His lithographs for the coronation for Queen Elizabeth II are quite famous, but my discovery of his works is relatively new. That is one of the great things about the internet, you can stumble across a real gem and within minutes be introduced to a new favourite, all before your first cup of tea!  Hastings The Tower of London I hope you enjoy his works too, a little bit of colour can a long way on a winter's day. On a chilly January day what am I dreaming of? A glass house nestled in snow. Not perhaps the cosy atmosphere one would aspect but completely beautiful. This glass house by architects Santambrogiomilano would only really work if you were an exhibitionist, or if you lived somewhere really private. The home owner can achieve privacy at the touch of a button though, the glass panels become opaque.  The glass structure is far from fragile, strengthened and toughened so the walls can withstand the weight of heavy snow. The glass walls heat up to make this piece of sculpture a comfortable home. But could you live in such an environment? Pretty much every piece of furniture is made from glass, apart from the bed, thankfully. Very fairytale. I like the idea that the outside is your wallpaper and the weather would be your entertainment. I'd love to know what you think.   

I haven't done nearly as much traveling as I would like to, but I do love it. Which is strange as I always get ill, can't handle the heat and get lost easily! I guess I like the adventure. Choosing what clothes to take is can be tricky. Light-weight but beautiful and practical can be challenging. In hotter climates like last year when I visited Morocco and a few years ago when I travelled around India, proved quite a challenge.  Well today I came across Matter , just beautiful tailoring in soft natural fabric and I just love the prints. Taking inspiration from around the world while using traditional methods and reinventing traveler style, I like it.  Cool and comfortable but still very chic.
