Studio Updates
January has been so busy for us in the studio! With a kind of illness tag team going on and loads of projects its been a little bit of a blur - and now we are half way through February!
I thought it might be nice to show you some of our latest projects so you can see what all the inspiring things I share on Design Debate feeds in to.
Above we have the A6 welcome card we created for luxury holiday cottages at Trevear Farm. I illustrated a little guinea fowl in the corner as you can spot them wondering around the small holding. Clean and simple design with lovely uncoated print.
One of our recent websites was for another lovely holiday cottage at Carclaze Farm. It is a really peaceful location so we wanted that to come across in the design. Being located in the beautiful county of Cornwall we do get a lot of holiday accommodation projects! They are lovely to work on, bringing out the personalty of the owners, the place and the location is always a challenge I relish.
Jo&Co Home are a company we have worked with few quite a few years now and its really great to see them grow. We produce all their advertising and print for this much loved lifestyle brand. We are currently designing their stationery including some rather lovely blush pink envelopes!
This is one of our recent websites for the ancient Pencarrow House and Gardens. I loved this project, so many layers of history in this house! The challenge was to give the estate a clear voice as over the years they had accumulated lots of pieces of print which needed to come under one design and one tone of voice. We did the copy writing for the website (see the Pencarrow website here) and are currently designing their new guide. Working with Pencarrow we also created the tourist leaflets and often design adverts, all in keeping with the updated brand.
This project was great to do, Port and Starboard fish and chips were a long standing client of ours who were brought by new owners allowing us to do a re-brand. We created a nautical themed logo, signs and menus both printed (backs with fish illustration above) and wall-mounted in the restaurant.
Finally a little bit of our work for Cornish Horizons. We have so many projects on the go at the moment! Fun things like a brochure for their holiday makers, a new owner guide and illustrated maps of Cornwall (my favourite!) Here is some artwork I created for their welcome emails and a promotional tote bag we designed.
